###  Waterfront, Tamsui: A Bali-Style Dinner and a Nightcap at Bar Salix

 Misty and I finally tried Waterfront, the sprawling Bali-inspired restaurant on the Tamsui riverside. I had lamb chops with chimichurri that sizzled on a hot plate, she had Jimbaran chicken and vegetable skewers hung from a metal rack, and we ended the night with drinks at Bar Salix up the boardwalk.

 Riverside restaurant in Tamsui, on the Rongti stretch of the waterfront, with large windows facing the Tamsui River. The menu leans Southeast Asian, and the dining room has a Bali-style look. The view is at its best around sunset. An English menu is available.
