 We went back to Yongkang Beef Noodle, the shop that's been serving red-braised bowls since 1963. The tendon is as tender as ever, with increased prices and long line-ups, does it live up to the hype?

 Beef noodle shop in a lane near Dongmen MRT, operating since 1963. The signature dish features beef in Sichuan-style spicy broth or clear broth, served with springy noodles. The beef and tendon come tender enough to break apart with chopsticks. Sticky rice with pork ribs is a common side order. The fills quickly with shared tables and efficient turnover. Listed as a Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2018 to 2022.
