Chuanzhai Alley Canteen - Chongqing Noodles
Sichuan and Chongqing noodle shop right near Beitou MRT station, run by a solo operator working behind a counter lined with spice jars. The dining space holds four seats along a wall table with additional seating outside. The Chongqing small noodles come with layered mala heat, while the hot and sour noodles and mouth-watering chicken draw regular orders. Red oil wontons and Yibin noodles also appear on the short menu. Open lunch and dinner, closed Sunday.
