金湘台灣小吃
金湘台灣小吃
Small Taiwanese eatery on Xinsheng South Road Section 1 in Zhongzheng, with a long, narrow dining room and an English menu. Braised pork rice (lu rou fan) is the main order, with a good fat-to-lean ratio in the pork. Chicken rice and a mixed chicken-and-pork rice are also on the menu. Soups include fried pork rib, bitter melon pork rib, and shiitake chicken, and the side dishes run to braised bamboo shoots, smoked pig ear, kimchi, and braised intestine. Homemade chili and pickled mustard greens are on hand for the rice, and you collect your own utensils.
